Becoming part of Elegant Gentlemen’s SC means more than just getting access to a great space, it’s about joining a community of men who live with purpose, discipline, and a deep sense of responsibility.
Membership is for those who understand that to be a true gentleman, you have to show up every day with integrity and strength.
Members are expected to embody qualities of integrity, mutual respect, responsibility, and maturity. We believe in fostering an environment where men not only succeed but also contribute positively to their community – men who are authentic, true to their values, and consistently work to become better versions of themselves.
Our membership process is designed to ensure that we only bring in men who reflect these core values:
Membership is open to adult males who are gainfully employed or self-employed with verifiable proof. The Minimum age is 30. Applicants must have legal residence status in their Country of residence and be sponsored by a current member in good standing. A Police Clearance certificate (not older than 30 days from the application date. A non-Refundable Membership application fee of #100,000 is also required
Our members are the change-makers in their communities, and we are looking for men who are ready to take responsibility for their personal growth and their collective future.
Introductory statement:
This Code of Conduct aims to promote a respectful, inclusive, and supportive environment for all members of Elegant Gentlemen’s SC.
Adherence to these guidelines ensures our social club’s integrity, reputation, and unity. Membership
in Elegant Gentlemen’s SC is a privilege, and all members are expected to uphold the principles outlined in this Code
of Conduct at all times.
• GENERAL PRINCIPLE
- Respect for Fellow Members:
Members must treat each other with respect, dignity, and consideration, regardless of differences in
opinion, background, or status within the club. Discrimination, harassment, or bullying in any form will not
be tolerated. - Integrity and Honesty:
Members are expected to act honestly and ethically in all interactions and decisions related to the club.
Dishonesty or actions that harm the club’s reputation will result in disciplinary action. - Confidentiality:
Members must maintain the confidentiality of any sensitive club-related information shared during
meetings or events unless explicitly authorized to disclose it. - Inclusivity:
While the club is an all-male organization, inclusivity within this framework is paramount. - Members are
expected to foster a welcoming and supportive environment for all current and potential members.
• BEHAVIORAL EXPECTATIONS
- Professional Conduct:
Members are expected to conduct themselves professionally at all club meetings, events, and activities.
Disruptive, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated. - Prohibition of Harassment and Misconduct:
Any form of verbal, physical, or sexual harassment or misconduct is strictly prohibited and will lead to
immediate disciplinary measures. - Substance Use:
While alcohol may be permitted at certain events, excessive consumption and any behavior stemming
from intoxication that disrupts the event or endangers others will result in sanctions. The use of illegal
drugs is strictly prohibited. - Conflict Resolution: Disputes among members should be resolved respectfully and constructively. If necessary, members are
encouraged to involve club leadership to mediate conflicts. - Commitment to Club Goals:Members are expected to actively participate in the club’s activities, respect its traditions, and contribute to
its mission and objectives.

• USE OF CLUB RESOURCES
- Proper Use: Club resources, facilities, and funds must only be used for club-sanctioned activities. Misappropriation of
funds or misuse of resources will result in disciplinary action, including potential legal action. - Representation of the Club: Members must not engage in any activity or public conduct that could bring the club into disrepute.
Members should seek prior approval before representing the club in external engagements.
• MEMBERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
- Dues and Obligations:
Members are required to pay all dues on time and fulfill any responsibilities assigned as part of their
membership. All dues and levies paid to the club are nonrefundable. - Attendance:Members are encouraged to attend club meetings and events regularly. Repeated absenteeism without a
valid reason may result in a review of membership status. - Recruitment:
Members are encouraged to recommend potential new members who align with the club’s values and
principles.
• DISCIPLINARY MEASURES
- Reporting Violations:
Any member who witnesses or experiences a breach of this Code of Conduct is encouraged to report the
incident promptly to club leadership or the designated Ethics Committee. - Investigation and Hearings:
- The Ethics Committee will thoroughly investigate reported violations. The accused member will be able to
present their side during a fair hearing.
Sanctions:
Depending on the severity of the violation, sanctions may include:
o Verbal or written warning
o Suspension of membership
o Permanent expulsion from the club
o Legal action in cases involving criminal conduct - Appeals:
Members subject to disciplinary action may appeal the decision to the club’s leadership within 14 days of
receiving notice. The leadership’s decision on appeals is final. - Amendments to the Code of Conduct: This Code of Conduct may be reviewed and amended as necessary to address emerging issues or changing club
needs. Amendments require a two-thirds majority vote by the club’s leadership and general membership.
